Chemixsol SUPERCONCENTRATED pH Adjuster with pH Control
Chemixsol Super C: pH Adjuster Up and Down Control Kit
Chemixsol Super C pH Adjuster Up and Down Control Kit contains everything you need to measures pH levels of your hydroponic grow reservoirs or for pH adjustment any water solutions. Use to adjust water for watering your indoor plants or to adjust the pH of a prepared nutrient solution. Recommended pH 5.5 - 6.5.
The super concentrated formula allows you to reduce the amount by 2-3 times compared to other brands. Tested and researched by professional chemists. Absolutely eco-friendly.
Chemixsol Super C KIT Includes:
- 4.1 oz. Super Concentrated pH Up Alkaline Liquid, dropper bottle,
- 4.1 oz. Super Concentrated pH Down Acidic Liquid, dropper bottle,
- 0.5 oz. pH Indicator, test tube, an eyedropper, and instruction with pH level chart
Soil pH is the measure of the acidity or alkalinity. Soils can be classified according to their pH value:
6.5 to 7.5—neutral
over 7.5—alkaline
less than 6.5—acidic, and soils with pH less than 5.5 are considered strongly acidic.
Soil pH is considered a master variable in soils as it affects many chemical processes. The availability of essential mineral nutrients defines the composition of root exudates, the microbiome, and controls the concentration of potentially toxic ions. Alkaline pH severely restricts the availability of Fe, P, Mn, and Zn. It also reduces seed germination and water capacity. Many alkaline soils are characterized by high Ca and bicarbonate concentrations.
The optimum pH range for most plants is between 5.5 and 6.5; however, many plants have adapted to thrive at pH values outside this range.
Fertilizing the soil or watering the soil with high or low pH water will change the optimal balance of the soil, so it is necessary to monitor this indicator periodically.
Fill the test tube half way with the nutrient solution or water to be tested.
Add 3 drops of pH test indicator solution to test tube.
Close the test tube and shake gently. Observe the color in the test tube and compare to pH chart.
If you get these results:
You're all right!
If not, see next steps --->
If you get these results:
You need to adjust with the Acidic Solution. See table below:
My water has the pH above 7 and I want to adjust it |
I have prepared a fertilizer solution and it has the pH above 8 |
|
How many drops per Gallon |
5 – 10 (1/2 mL) |
20 – 25 (1 mL) |
Add the recommended number of drops. Stir. Repeat steps 1 – 3.
If the pH is greater than 7 increase the number of drops of
pH DOWN solution.
If pH is less than 5.5 add
pH UP solution
If you get these results:
You need to adjust with the Alkaline Solution. See table below:
My water has the pH below 5 and I want to adjust it |
I have prepared a fertilizer solution and its pH is below 4. |
|
How many drops per Gallon |
5 – 10 (1/2 mL) |
15 – 25 (1 mL) |
Add the recommended number of drops. Stir. Repeat steps 1 – 3.
If the pH is less than 5.5 increase the number of drops of
pH UP solution.
If pH is greater than 7 add pH DOWN solution.
